Biography:
Prism is the most prominent religious figure that does not take manifestation as a god. That is to say, there is no unified being that is Prism. Rather, Prism is the omnipresent force which uniquely allows one to approach a situation from a different perspective. Famously, Prism is the guiding light which illuminates the truth in the face of any adversity. It is the persistence that drives both the artist and the inventor. It is the acknowledgement that there is always another possibility to be explored. Prism is by no means a god, but it is the guiding light by which all actions are taken by gods and mortals alike.
Worshippers:
Scientists, Artists, Philosophers, Investigators
Places of Worship:
Universities, Town Centers, Waterfalls, Mountain tops
Worship:
Devoted worshippers believe that the true power of Prism is a collective consciousness of inspiration that moves from one soul to another across any boundaries. Members of any faiths are encouraged to give to and take from this common pool as they need it. Places of gathering are believed to be centers in which the mere presence of a large number of people replenishes this pool. Conversely, places where light and water meet naturally are believed to be access points where clarity and inspiration are found most commonly. Those seeking inspiration will find it in nature from the basin of a waterfall or by viewing the mist or a lake from atop the crest of a mountain. As natural light is most produced by the Sun, the feeding and tapping of inspirational energies is most potent at dusk and dawn respectively when its light is passed through the great filter that is the atmosphere. Those who worship Prism are encouraged to value specialization, passion for a craft, and diversity of peoples.
Servants:
The Sisters of Deliverance
Tana, Thrine, and Astrophe roam the lands of Eideiri placing serendipitous objects in the paths of those who need inspiration the most. While they have a traditionally angelic appearance, they take feline form when delivering inspiration. The fiercer the form, the more potent the knowledge they deliver.
Rona
Rona taught the first peoples to preserve their knowledge with writing. When the first peoples died, so too did most of their writings. Legend says knowledges of magic and technology beyond what is possible today lie buried with the ancient artifacts of the first peoples.
